Brooklyn 1.0 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and related social events.
This Code of Conduct was based on the work of JSConf, Geek Feminism, confcodeofconduct.com, and inspired by resources provided by Ashe Dryden.

Focusing on the content and less so the visuals and imagery, Brooklyn 1.0 featured a muted color palette in soft pastels. In a deliberate attempt to emphasize substance, the visual center was soft spoken and complementary to the larger conference vision.
This limited edition set of Point Oh Field Notes represents the same undercurrent and value as Brooklyn 1.0; to provide a pleasing canvas on which to share yourself.
